MY MENTOR and favorite professor, the late, great Jack Potter (of Coca Cola and Lord & Taylor illustration fame), used to browbeat his students into drawing shape by constantly reminding us in his megaphone-loud voice, "If you need to use words, you're not doing the drawing right!" That lesson still rings in my ears today.
Please note, dear readers, there are no words enhancing today's drawing–other than those crowing about how well I learned Mr. Potter's lesson.
Paint on,
Depingo
